Room Split Record Provisioning

Detect split polylines with new text IDs and automatically provision new database records.

What is the room split record provisioning?

Room split provisioning detects when one space has been divided into several and creates the new records automatically. The technician draws the split and assigns new Text IDs in CAD, and matching database rows are provisioned on link, with no manual record creation beforehand.

The problem it prevents

Splitting an office into three normally means creating three database rows by hand before the drawing can link, in the right order, with the right parent. Miss one and the link fails; mistype one and the new room maps to nothing.

How it works

  • New closed polylines carrying new Text IDs inside a previously linked space are detected as splits.
  • Records are provisioned for the new identifiers as part of the link.
  • Areas are recalculated for all resulting spaces and colour coded as changed.
  • The original space's history remains intact in the revision timeline.

What you get

Technicians no longer need to create database rows manually before editing and linking CAD drawings.
