Colour-Coded Audit States
Legend colour coding: grey for a perfect match, purple for recalculated spaces.
What is the colour-coded audit states?
Audit state colours show what an upload actually changed. Grey marks spaces that matched the existing record exactly and purple marks spaces whose area was recalculated, so a technician confirms the scope of a revision visually instead of reading a difference report.
The problem it prevents
After re-uploading a drawing, the important question is narrow: which spaces changed. Answering it from a tabular diff of hundreds of rooms is slow, and a boundary move of a few centimetres in the wrong place is exactly what gets skimmed past.
How it works
- Each linked space is compared against its stored record during upload.
- Grey indicates a perfect match with no change to boundary or area.
- Purple indicates a recalculation, so the boundary or area moved.
- The colour coding renders on the plan itself, alongside the other audit flags.
What you get
Allows rapid visual confirmation of boundary line changes and updated space areas.
