What is the bulk space selection?
Bulk space selection lets a technician select many rooms at once and change them together. Space type, department, fill colour, occupancy and other attributes are updated across the selection in a single action, which is what makes a large departmental move manageable.
The problem it prevents
Reallocating a floor from one department to another one room at a time is hours of repetitive clicking, and every repetition is a chance to set the wrong value on one room that nobody notices until a chargeback report looks wrong.
How it works
- Spaces are selected on the plan by drag, by attribute or by list.
- Attribute changes are applied across the whole selection in one commit.
- Occupant and seating assignments can be moved in bulk with the spaces.
- The change is recorded as a single revision for review.
