Asset & Occupant Tracking

Seating & Ownership Timeline

Link individual CAD spaces directly to historical occupant and seating data.

What is the seating & ownership timeline?

The seating and ownership timeline connects every space on the floor plan to the people and departments that have occupied it over time. Vacancy rates, historical seat use and department cost allocations can be audited for any period directly from the plan.

The problem it prevents

Occupancy usually lives in a spreadsheet that only holds today. Once a move happens, last quarter's arrangement is gone, so vacancy trends and cost allocation disputes cannot be substantiated with anything but memory.

How it works

  • Each space carries a time-ordered record of occupants, seats and owning department.
  • History is retained through moves, so a space's full occupancy timeline stays queryable.
  • Bulk moves write occupancy history for every affected space in one action.
  • Reporting resolves occupancy as of any chosen date.

What you get

Permits immediate auditing of vacancy rates, historical seat use and departmental cost allocations.
